Such a long time

It has been a long time since I actually made a blog post, so I thought I'd make one. A lots been going on I suppose since my last entry. I drive now, and have a car which makes things a lot easier. I actually passed my test first time, which was great. ^_^ Works crazy as always, but that's to be expected with the xmas period.

I'm playing quite a bit of MW2 and Assassin's Creed II at the moment. ACII is growing on me as I go, and MW2 is awesome, even though I'm only playing online now with Adam, and finally Sean! I'm finding MW2 a lot more enjoyable than CoD4 aswell. I didn't play CoD:WaW (NO IT'S NOT COD5!!!), but I didn't hear anything good about it really, so I'm not bothered. I do suggest that people get MW2 if you enjoy a good FPS, even if it's just for the online play. ACII, well if you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjy this one. If not, I wouldn't suggest it at the moment, as it's not cheap for a game you might like.

As people can see, I've done a fair amount of work on Blogit Basic too, and made quite a few more features for it. I'll be doing the Archiving next, which I have no diea where to start on... After that I'll make a start on the RC for download. I guess we'll see how that goes. Until then.

Dunno what to put...

Well, I've got my blog online again, and have for a few days, and I have no idea what to put. I haven't been gaming that much, and there's not a lot going on... Or not that I'll post here, lol. I have my own brand spanking new PC, which i built about a month ago, and that's about it really...

I've got my driving test tomorrow though, hope that goes well, but we'll soon see I guess. Doesn't help I'm really tired at the moment, was a late night last night, but at least it's the weekend for me now. Maybe I'll think of something to blog when my brains online, lol.

Anime spammage!

Well I've not done a lot, apart from spam watch Anime. I completely udpated myself on Bleach now. I was half way through the first Bount Arc Series last time I'd watched. Now I'm up to episode 134! I'm now watching inuyasha instead. Not a lot else to really report though.

Been playing Fallout 3 again, well the DSTs for them. They're pretty good actually. Not sure if they're better than the original game, but I've only done two out of the 4 so far.

I've also uploaded pictures of last weeks Warhammer game, which can be found on my Facebook page, here.

As I said, not a lot else to say I'm affraid, so until I do have something better

Not a lot to add...

I don't actually have a lot to add this this entry, I haven't really done a lot full stop... Went to Games Workshop, and played one game (against Dean). Ended in a draw ths time.

I did download Battlefield 1943 though, which is completely awesome. Already at a huge amount of played hours. Mainly playing as with the rifle, or flying a plane (which I'm getting pretty good at now). I can't wait for the Coral Sea map which comes out.

I did say I'd post some pictures of my Warhammer models aswell didn't I, which I haven't done yet. I might take some later today or tomorrow. Got a couple I want to finish. Have got a big game on Sunday though, so might get a few pics of that, or post a tak through of the battle here (or somewhere).

Anyway for now I'm done, I want to play some more Battlefield.

Long weekend

Well I've barely slept this weekend. Went round friends both evenings this week, and had work during the day, so didn't mix too well when getting 3/4 hours sleep a night. Was fun though, watching George struggle with Tales of Vesperia, or Brad deciding to invite people over and go to bed.

Not a lot else has actually happened this weekend apart from that. I managed to complete all the Portal Advanced Test Chambers, which wasn't easy, but that was with help from a couple of friends. I do have a week off work though, so it's probably going to be time to spam some games and play some Warhammer. I'll probably put some pics up of my completed models online, so I'll put some thumbnails on here if people are interested.

Wednesday off?

Well the weather's really really nice, and I have Wednesday off work. So what have I been doing with it? Sitting indoors with the kittens while they miss behave and read a book. Think I'm going to go outside in a minute, but we'll see.

I've been thinking of adding a new feature to Larnu.co.uk where you can see what I've been doing on my 360 recently. Might be quite cool. Show you if I'm online, and for how long, what I'm playing (if I am), and what achievements I may have gotten recently. Doesn't help that both the games I'm playing have secret achievements at the moment though. I got the idea from MyGamerCard.net and the current add on I've got on my Facebook account. If you do add me there, and I don't know you though, please note that I won't accept you. The MyGamerCard.net look like this:

Hopefully I can make something quite cool, but we'll see I suppose! I may ask permission to include the gamercard from they're website in it.

Not sure how I'm going to do that yet, but then I can start work on it whenever, I jsut thought it would be pretty cool and stuff. If you want to let me know what you think of the idea, then post some comments on here again. I'm probably going to add the comments bit onto my website, but then it'll transfer you to the BlogIt Basic website login.

I'll let you know how that goes, and hell, could be a another nice add on for peoples websites if i finish it.

Here are some of the vids from the game I had on Halo 3. Just some silly bits really, nothing too interesting unfortunatly, but a little funny. Anyway, here you go.

I'll have to post some proper vids or something at some point. Also on a side note, Star Ocean is actually getting pretty difficult now. And Tales of Vesperia? Well I'm not being OP in that, so I'm having problems with th current boss, who's level 20, and I'm level 14, whoops... Anyway, was just posting the vids really. Till then!

Well Tales of Valeria finally arrived! Woo! I haven't played that much of it, as I want to play Star ocean still, which is just awesome still. I made a quick post on the home page of Larnu.co.uk aswell, basically about upcoming plans (which I intend on keeping this time), so if you're interested have a read.

Just work today apart from that, but I'll probably be up late playing Star Ocean or something. Brother thinks I'm going to get bored of it, but I doudt it. I almost dare not say it, but it's so much better than most of the FF games (blasphemy!). I'll probably play some 2P Halo 3 online in a bit with him though. We'll be playing Squad Battles for anyone that's interested. You know where to find me on Live (LarnuUK is my Gamertag, but if you add me, tell me who you are at least).

Well I'm gunna call that my entry for today. I really want to actually make a proper thing out of this blog. I can't wait for the Facebook thing to come out on XBox, I can put pics from it on here then (that reminds me, I have a few Halo 3 moments I should share here). Anyway I'm rambling , just like on the podcasts (which I need to do aswell, dude!!! So much I wanna do, and so little technology, I can't wait till I get my PC in September. Finally back

Ok, so I finally have access to my blog again! I can finally get some stuff done on it and make it active. A lots happened since my last entry on this website, but it's all fun and games. I don't have my own computer or anything anymore, which completely sucks. I have got a whole 3 RPG's to play on my 360 at the moment. "Blue Dragon", which I've owned for a long time, but never got around to finishing, "Tales of Vesperia", which arrives... Friday or Thursday, and then "Star Ocean: the Last Hope"! Awesome game, and really enjoying it (hell I got 8 hours of game play on the first night, and I wasn't bored yet, I only stopped due to needing to sleep). I also managed to get Edge to have 1337 HP :P

Anyway, I think I'm going to go play now :P I'm going to have to update this more often though, I jsut don't bother doing it anymore (which sucks to be honest). I'll be playing Aion soon(ish), as long as I get a pc and build it in time, so maybe I'll post some screenies and stuff of that. Finally some gaming MMo style!

Well, I think it's time to do one of these, as I haven't in ages, have I. At uni at the moment, and this is when I spent the most time on this website, so expect me to finally finish this off. A lot has happened since my last entry. I'm even on Xbox Live now, my Gamertag is LarnuUK. I'll make a proper post about that later tonight I think. For now, just, err... I dunno, wait? You could always spam up my comments or something.

New Guild Wars Stuff!

Well, another eventful thing happened. Guild Wars Guru made a post yesturday, about the future updates on Guild Wars, and Guild Wars 2! Guild Wars Campaign 4, will be Eye of the North, making it Guild Wars: Eye of the North, or GW:EN! Anyone who has played Prophecies will recognise that name. It played about, a decade or so after Prophecies, I believe, I can't remember the exact date that they're planning. Guild Wars 2 is based, about 3 centuries later. It's a totally different concept. That pretty much raps up for this blog. I've completed Gears of War already, and currently working through it on the harder modes, which, aren't that much harder, apart from things blow you up easier, which, get's annoying against Boomers. Why they can't shout "Boom" when they shoot, and not just randomly, I have no idea, it makes more sense, and I can actually dodge the rockets easily, lol. Anyways, till next time!

I got a 360!

Yep that's right, I finally got a 360!

You can also see my PS2, buried under all my stuff next to my digibox and alarm clock. It's only using a small TV, but, at least I have 5.1 Stereo (notice the subwoofer). So, that's where I'll be spending my next few days, playing non-stop on that, although I only have Gears of War at the moment, but, there's plenty more games out there, so, yay! I haven't made a post the last few days actually, but, nevermind, I will be again now, if I can like, peel myself away from my child... I mean 360. Lol. Anyways just the small entry, guess where I'm going now?

Busy Beaver

Well, I've been a bit of a busy beaver with BlogIt Basic, coding the comments feature. I'm once again, very happy with myself that I've got it done, and I found it harder, and easier than I thought. There were parts, that, were, well, easy to script, and other, I had a little more difficulty doing, but, it all works now! If you wanna try posting a comment on one of my blogs, go ahead I don't have a problem with that, just, don't psot anything stupid or, they may disappear. I'll tell you more about recent events later, I've only really told you about Blogit Basic in this entry, so, I'll make another entry later today. So, until then.

Day off work O.o

Well, as the title suggests, I ahd the day off work, and, well, I really didn't make the most of it. I slept in till gone 13:00 to start, so, that was half the day gone. Then, i spent most of the day playing Guild Wars. I managed to do a few things, capture a couple of elite skills, and get my elementlist ascended. I've got to still get her her last 15 attribute points, but, that'll be easy, sort of. We tried killing Rotscale a few times too. We failed, miserably. I can take out his Bone Dragon friends easy. Spiteful Spirit builds own, but, yeah, Rotscale sucks... I also managed to kill Glint twice. One time, with a party, it took 15 minutes, and i lost count at 25 how many times I had resurrected people. And then, with Tom we did it, in a couple of minutes... Talk about not making sense, as we had henchman, apparently the monks in the aprty sucked.

you probably don't care for Guild Wars, but tough. I've posted my plans for BlogIt basic on the home page, which you've probably already seen, so no need for explanation there, and check the home page if you do. Anyways, that's my entry for today, a nice Guild Wars related entry. I'll probably post a pic from my Guild Wars travels later, I'll edit into this entry, or link to it anyway. It'll probably be the draw bridge glitch, when we stood in the middle of the air, that was fun. Anyways, yeah better rap it up, so, untill tomorrow.

O.o, a new logo

Well, today has been an, okish day. It's been quite a long day, but, I've got a couple of things done here. As you can see, I've totally reworked to look for the website. Instead of using the Larnu.co.uk template from befoer, it's now using it's own. I've also changed the logo, from what it was before and I'm really happy with the end result.

Aswell as all that, we've been having fun with empty threats on Runevillage about a DDoS attack. It's not gunna happen in my opinion, but, it's still a threat. I also might not be seeing Jem now this week. So yeah, that upset me, hopefully I still will, but, I've gotta talk to her, but her falling asleep doesn't help. Hopefully I still will though, really been missing her.

Finally then, I'd like to say thanks to Tom, who's been spaming a little... Good job i don't have post counts on this huh? Anyways, I'll hopefully post again tomorrow, unless of couirse i see Jem, where I'll probably make one on Saturday morning instead. Good night all!

So, we have titles now huh?

Well, here's my blog entry for today, while I listen to Linkin Park, because they were finally added to iTunes :P. Well, today, I obviously did some more of the blog system. Which is, cool. I've just added titles and stuff, as well as changing the blog page, so that you can see where recent entries have been made, and who's recently registered. I've got the get the date function working soon, it only being GMT is going to caus problems, especially for user's who are in timzones like +8 or -9 or similar.

I've also had fun with RV Temp Chat, changing the messages the bot says when you do certain commands, mainly because, I was bored. Nothing really comical about today though I'm affraid. It was my brothers birthday (on the 7th that is), and, I didn't have enough wrapping paper to wrap his present, so I just wrapped up the remote. His face when he suddenly got a small present, instead of a large one, was great, and then he found out why once he unwrapped it, so yeah, I enjoyed that.

Other than that, not a lot. Scott finally got back in contact with Nate about the Runevillage .Net server, and he's working on that at the moment. Henner won't let me :(, he sucks. Anyways, it's now 01:15, so, I'm going to get some sleep I think. So good night all, and until my next entry, take care of yourselves!

BlogIt Basic is Released!

Well, if you haven't read the Home Page, I've finished RC1 for BlogIt Basic. You can now register and put your own blogs on the internet! I'm not gunna make a huge post here, it's pretty explanitory, and you can check it out for yourself.

So that's basically what I got done today, the final part of RC1. Yay!!!

Well, I just added an E-mail validation script into BlogIt Basic, so thigns are coming along well now. All i need to do now is make a registration script and I'll be releasing RC1. I also forgot to say, I'm going to be includiong archiving in the script, so that not every entry, from all time is displayed in one go, but all from one month, and you can go and look at previous months. That's not so high priority at first, as when i first release it, people aren't going to have like, 100's of entries, so it's easy enough.

Anyway, that was just a heads up.

Well today, we got a temporary Runvillage up. To be honset, I'm not overly keen on the idea, mainly because it's getting spammed like hell and stuff, but, I suppose it's better than nothing. We'll be working on getting a new Runevillage up soon though, hopefully. It's gunna be a fair amount of work, but, we'll be happy when it's done.

I haven't done anymore work on the Public version of BlogIt Basic yet, I keep getting distracted really. I'm gunna do some in the morning I think. We have the e-mail functions on the server running again, and I need to make some type of script for checking for e-mail validation, but, I've got an idea on how to do that. Hopefully it'll work, hopefully. Once I've done that, I need to create a template, or find one, for blogitbasic.com. I'm hoping to have it so that a user can choose from several different styles for the blogs on the site. This just makes it more user friendly, and more customisable aswell. I'll just include one at first, and I'll release that in V1.3 or something.

I also need to get the date function working properly. At the moment, it only works in GMT, so if your asy, CST and post at 19:00, it'll say it was posted the next day, which doesn't really help. That one, should be easy enough though. I don't have a plan on how to do it yet, but, I can think of that one as I go.

Finally, I'm going to start working on the admin facilities and also easier navigation inside menus. I've already got most of the admin stuff done, there's just, a couple of little bits I want to add on. Most likely that'll appear in V1.1, and the navigation in RC1.

Anyways, that's all for updates today. I'll update you on the status once I've done it tomorrow.

Well this is my second blog for today, but, nevermind. I just finished coding the admin panel for BlogIt Basic, so I thought I'd let you guys nkow about it. It's still basic, but then the name of the script sort of gives that away. Next I've got to code the registration Script. That's going to be the hardest thing of them all. But then, I'll be coding that on the new domain.

I've also made a small little page here on BlogIt Basic, which can be found in the tools page. But, you can read about that on the Home Page, if you haven't already.

I'll update you on more info on BlogIt Basic, as I complete it. Until then.

Well, this is my first blog post in awhile. I'm just letting you guys know i exist really. As you know, I've got the bloggy script up and running now, which is great. It's not complete for public use, but it hopefully will be soon :P.

Also, my laptops still dead, so, I'm still using the family PC, but, at least I've done something with the site now, after a month of doing nothing. I'm really proud of myself too.

I thought it time to give people a quick update on how things are going. Unfortunatly my laptop's Graphic card, is in, well, a state, and won't be fixed until I manage to, well, send it off, which could take a little while.

I haven't really been doing that much of late. The usual sort of things, nothing exciting to change really. I did see Jem yesturday however, which is always great.

So basically you've got another boring blog entry, that's actually being entered at 02:00 on the 26^th, but that's technicallities.

Today, was not a good day, my laptop has died. Counter Strike killed the graphics card, and as a result, it's more or less inoperable. I am in the process of fixing it, and it'll probably be sent off in the week so hopefully it'll be back by next week, or going well at least.

That's all i really have to say for today. Not a lot apart from that happened, so i spent a lot of my day trying to fix it.

So, I may not make any entrees for a few days, if I don't, sorry, I'll keep you guys posted at least.

Ok, so I haven't made an entry in a couple of days. Well, I'm gunna blame work for that one, as those who know me, will know I work all weekend.

So, there's been a few interesting things happen this weekend, unfortunatly, I'm not going to be enlightening you about them. It may have been interesting, or similar, however, I'm not posting it on the internet, I'm affraid, so for you, it's somewhat boring.

One thing though, I know have Counter Strike. If you want to contact me on Steam, you can guess my ID, and if you really cant, well, don't add me, not that you'll know my ID to add me anyways. I somewhat suck right now, But I'm learning as I go, I haven;t played an FPS is so long, I played UT2004 recently, I know, but racing maps don't involve shooting, they involve me driving, and others shooting for me.

So I'm affraid that's about it really from me instead, not really a climax for a weekend, but hey there you go.

So here we are, day 3 of my blog on life. I suppose it's more of a diary type thing really... except I don't start with "Dear Diary", or end with, "Love you loads Diary, Tom xxx". Hmm, maybe I should... NO! No, I don't want to degrade myself to that. So I'll start giving you mylife story for the 3rd day instead.

Well today, I had to go into University, to show my one of my pieces of Coursework in action. i was really quite proud of it. It made a settings file on a remote computer, for another program I made. And that Settings file defined what the program did, from doing a Checkdisk, Defrag, and Shutting Down on completion. My tutor was really impressed, when i finally got it working. Because of the enclosed area, the drives were shared as "C" and not "C$", which took me ages to figure out, but none the less, I got there.

That wasn't the fun bit of the day though, oh no. The one thing today, was the wind. 70Mph in some areas. Great fun! I stood by the thames and got picked off the floor! I was actually off the ground it was that strong! It also made a tree collapse on a bridge, which I use, and also, the trains I use go under. So, yeah, no trains for me... 45 minute journey, turns into 2 and a half hour journey. Happy days huh? At least I got to read some more of my book, The Wheel of time, Book 8.

So i get home, late and have my piano lesson, or thought I would. You see, I just knew the trains were down, due to a electric problem, I didn't know where. Well, I found out soon enough, yep, the one bridge I need, to get to my lesson, and a huge tree, and train lines all over it. So I never got to my lesson, if I'd of walked round, I would of been 45 minutes late, and I was running early for once!

So I got back home, and that's literally been it really. Nothing really exciting since then. Yeah, I've talked to the guys, and girl (Jem), as I always do, but that's it really. Played a little UT2004, and Red Orchestra, and discovered, that I'm not rank 11 on the server anymore. Well the server doesn't exist anymore, but I'm not ranked on any server now... I was so out of practice, but maybe I'll get back in game.

I have started working on the new way of making the blogs however, it's going to take me ages, I really hate coding stuff like this, give me an application anyday, but, it's still practice, I'll keep you posted. I have decided to change the name though. It's now "BlogItBasic", sounds better, and there's no k.

Well, its 02:40 (so it's actually the 19th while I'm writing this, but I doudt you care), so I'm going to sleep. Once again, hope I didn't bore you, and if I did, Tough!

Hmm, today's been an interesting day, I suppose... Not. Today I had an exam, so not the best thing to be waking up to, to realise you've got an exam in the afternoon, but hey, that's in the afternoon.

So I wake up, to the noise of my cat, clawing at the door. That's not too bad, I mean all she wants is a bit of company, or so I thought at least. She was actually in and out like a Yo-Yo. As soon as she'd been inside for 15-30 minutes, she wanted out again, and vice-versa. I mean come on... Make up your mind already, I'm trying to cram here! Well, eventually that came to an end when I didn't answer the door to her for 10 minutes.

So I suppose the next exciting bit is going to the exam. Well, I left a little late, and so, I arrived, 5 minutes late. Which isn't really too bad to be honest, it could of ended a lot worse, so I was aright. I got in the exam, and behold, Question 1, exactly what I expected. So there I am thinking to myself, excellent, this is ging to be easy! Remind me never to think like that again. I answered question 1, as I only needed to do 4 out of the 5, and it was easy, I thought it best to. Then I looked at question 2, and though, ok, that's the question I miss, I'll look at the next one. Repeat that another 4 times. The stuff was nothing I'd revised. They'd put all the stuff, which was more or less irrelevent in the exam... Well, I got through it in the end, so I was, kinda happy.

So I managed to finish the exam, at the exact same time as my mate, Mike, and I though, great, now I can hear from him how well he did, and how he understood all 5 questions. To my relief, it was the total opposite, he had the same problem as me. I was so releaved I couldn't believe it. He's like, the guy who's top in everything, if he doesn't get it, I stand no chance. We'd bth blagged our way through almost the entire exam, however, we did ind we'd said a lot of similar stuff, so that's probably a good sign. Anyway we discussed it for the whole way we were going home, until we split at West Ham Station, where once again he told me to get Final Fantasy XI. When will he learn, it's not a Final Fantasy game! I ain't paying for something like that, I'll stick to Guild Wars thanks.

Well, I get home, and shortly after get online. So I updated my site a little, as you can see, we've got the new logo now, and the new Contact Us page. I think I did a good job, considering, I mean I've never done graphics before, it was literally what font looks good, and what happens if I press this button? And the Contact Us page? Well that's in php, so I knew a little more but it still took a few attempts, but at least I knew what I was doing.

For the rest of the night, I've been talking once again, to the usual people, Tim, Kevin, Jereon, and of course Jem, who's the only person who I am right now. I've also been working on my new project, to make my blogging easier. I've decided to call it "BasikBlog", no idea why, but it's kinda catchy. We'll see how I go with that one anyways, don't expect any miracles soon.

My Plan with "BasikBlog" is to actually end up making a website for people to put their blogs on. Being a lot more simple than other blog services, it may catch on a lot more. When or if I finish it you'll see what I mean, for now, you'll have to wait, hopefully in a bit of suspense.

Well that's it for now, I'm probably going to play some Unreal Tournament 2004 in a minute, once Jem falls asleep if she hasn't already. If you want to contact me in the mean time, well you know how.

Well, the first day of the new template, and the first day of my, text based blog. Yeah it's not going to be fancy, or in php or anything, i'll be updating this in good old html, until I make some sort of like, little input box or something for me.

Anyways Today's been fun. Sorting out the new website template. I've got a couple of extra plans for it, and if you have any ideas for it, please e-mail me aswell. I'm not sure where to put the Supergirl page yet. Or if I'm even going to include it yet.

I've decided to try and also do something worth while with this website now. What I still haven't decided, but it'll be interesting when I get the idea, I assure you.

So, "What have I been doing today?" I hear you ask. Well, actually I don't, but still. Well tommorow, I have an exam, so I've been revising for that. As usual, I've been talking to the usual suspects. Nate, Tim, Jeroen, and of course Jem. Then, this evening it was badminton, in which I totally sucked. I really couldn't focus today, and totally zoned out for most of my games. I really performed badly, especially for me, missing the easy shots. Nevermind, I'll do better next time, I'm sure.

So i have a few more plans for the site, I've got to make the top and bottom into a footer and header. Editing every page when I change something is starting to get on my nerves, and I only have 4 pages so far. It's just something to make my life easier, you won't notice it yourself. The art of PHP, and the fact that I suck at it, lol.
Well, hoped you enjoyed reading my first Blog entry, I'm going to try and do it on a regular basis, maybe not every day, but as much as I can, without boring you guys. So until next time.

Last Minute Entry: I decided to add the header and footer now, instead of later, just because it was annoying me, as I said, there will be no difference to what you see, however, when coding, it's a lot easier for me when coding. Anyways Good Night.
